NDR \u2013 Sommertour Hamburg<\/h3>\n

Zum 4. Mal durften wir die NDR-Sommertour begleiten.<\/p>\n

Wenn der NDR bittet, l\u00e4sst man nicht lange warten. Vor allem, wenn man zur Primetime spielen darf. 20:30 Uhr begann unser Konzert und dauert genau eine Stunde. Nach uns trat die Manfred Mann\u2019s Earthband auf. Mittlerweile ist der gute Manfred Mann bereits 78 Jahre alt. Vor 11 Jahren spielten wir bereits einmal vor seiner Band \u2013 damals in Bayern, heute in Hamburg.<\/p>\n

Das Konzert wurde komplett im NDR-Livestream \u00fcbertragen. Vier Songs sind in der NDR-Mediathek hinterlegt und k\u00f6nnen angeschaut werden. Hier die Links:<\/p>\n

Der NDR hingegen achtet darauf, seine von ihm gebuchten Bands m\u00f6glichst gleichberechtigt zu behandeln. Sowohl in der Werbung vorab, als auch vor Ort. Ein gro\u00dfer Dank daf\u00fcr!<\/p>\n

Menschenmengen<\/h3>\n

Wir haben ja bereits einige Konzerte auf B\u00fchnen von Radiosendern gespielt. Meist stellen und betreuen die Sender ihre B\u00fchnen, das Event unterliegt dann aber anderen Veranstaltern. Dann wird nicht alles ganz genau genommen. Die Anzahl der Mitarbeiter ist nicht gerade klein, aber noch \u00fcberschaubar.<\/p>\n

In diesem Fall ist der NDR mit seiner Sommertour allgegenw\u00e4rtig. F\u00fcr deren Prestigeveranstaltung wurde gef\u00fchlt das komplette Personal in den Ring geworfen. Uns als Band wurde beinahe schwindelig, wenn man sieht, wie GEWALTIG die Organisation und wie riesig das Aufgebot an Mitarbeitern ist. Es ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis.<\/p>\n

LED-Wand<\/h3>\n

Neben der B\u00fchne hat der NDR eine LED-Wand aufgebaut. F\u00fcr diese fuhr ein eigener LKW vor. Das Konzert wurde komplett mit 6 Kameras mitgeschnitten. Highlight war sicherlich der gro\u00dfe Schwenkkran.<\/p>\n

Wolle und Peter<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Licht<\/h3>\n

Der Lichttechniker hat sich nicht lumpen lassen. Als wir 2008 als Vorgruppe von Manfred Mann\u2019s Earthband spielten, verwehrte man und den Zugang zur Lichtanlage mit der Begr\u00fcndung, dass diese nur Mannfred Mann zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen sollte. Diese Order kam nicht vom damaligen Veranstalter, der uns extra aus Bremerhaven nach Bayern buchte, sondern von Manfred Mann selber bzw. dessen Management. Heutzutage h\u00e4tten wir uns nicht so leicht absch\u00fctteln lassen wie vor 11 Jahren.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u00a0Laufsteg<\/h3>\n

Zu einer ordentlichen B\u00fchne geh\u00f6rt ein Laufsteg. Selbstverst\u00e4ndlich haben wir diesen ausgiebig genutzt. 4 Minuten Gitarrensolo am St\u00fcck – feinfein.<\/p>\n

Ende<\/h3>\n

Das Konzertende \u2013 genau 59:37 Min. nach Konzertbeginn verlie\u00dfen wir die B\u00fchne. Aufgrund des Livestreams mussten die Zeiten penibel eingehalten werden. Wir waren p\u00fcnktlich!<\/p>\n

Soundcheck<\/h3>\n

Unseren Soundcheck mussten wir bereit um 13:30 Uhr machen. Zu der Zeit sah es noch nach einem Wetterdesaster aus. Aber am Abend klarte es auf – Gl\u00fcck gehabt.<\/p>\n

Hotel<\/h3>\n

Ein Teil der Band reiste nach dem Konzert ab, ein anderer Teil blieb in Hamburg. Unser Hotel befand sich 700m von der B\u00fchne entfernt.<\/p>\n
