Seit dem ersten Gehversuch an der Gitarre mit 14 Jahren, waren erst Ritchie Blackmore und sp\u00e4ter durch \u201eSultans of swing\u201c Mark Knopfler die gro\u00dfen Idole. Nicht wissend, wie man mit einem Plektrum umgeht, wurde mit den Fingerkuppen gespielt, bis die Finger wund waren. Nach mehreren Bandprojekten sollte 2004 die Zeit reif sein, f\u00fcr die Umsetzung der Lieblingsmusik.<br \/>\nThomas Fiebig war als Musiker Nr. 1 bereits gesetzt, da sich Thomas und Wolfgang bereits aus einer Rock\u2019n\u2019Roll Band her kannten.<br \/>\nDie Suche nach weiteren Musikern erwies sich als sehr schwierig. In einer Zeit, in der Tributebands noch weit weniger gefragt waren, wurde das Projekt eher als (wortw\u00f6rtlich) Todgeburt angesehen. Die akquirierten Musiker sagten zu und teils am Tag der 1. Probe wieder ab.<br \/>\nBis zu dem Probetermin, an dem sich die 4 Leidensgenossen trafen, die bis 2020 zusammen spielten (Fiebig, Gernhoff, Spencer, Uhlich). Erst nach einigen Proben konnte mit Lars Leminski ein Keyboarder gefunden werden. Diese Besetzung hat 6 wunderbare Jahre zusammen gespielt. 2011 wurde Lars durch Tobi Blattmann ersetzt.<br \/>\nViele sch\u00f6ne Jahre sp\u00e4ter verlie\u00df Peter Spencer die Band. Wolfgang \u00fcbernahm den Posten des S\u00e4ngers und vereinigte so das Singen und Spielen wie es von Mark Knopfler bekannt ist. Als neuer Schlagzeuger kam Olaf Satzer hinzu, der bereits seit 2007 unregelm\u00e4\u00dfig hinter dem sTRATS Schlagzeug sa\u00df.<br \/>\nAls weiterer Gitarrist kam Wolfgangs fr\u00fcherer Gitarrenlehrer und Mentor Matthias Strass zur Band. F\u00fcr Jens wurde die neue Position des Percussionisten geschaffen.<br \/>\nWolfgang spielt in der Regel mit Fingerkuppen, wie es auch Knopfler betreibt \u2013 so kann man dem Stil sehr nahe kommen. Auch das Equipment \u00e4hnelt dem Knopflers. Wolfgangs goldene Regel lautet: \u201eSpielen im Sinne des Originals und der Musik\u201c.
